Privacy Policy
Recipe Booster collects your email address to create an account, and optional goal data you choose to share — such as sugar, protein, fiber, or carb targets, and optionally PCOS-related or insulin-friendly goals. This optional data is never required to use the app and can be removed at any time. We also store the recipe links or screenshots you submit and the swapped recipes we generate for you. We use this data to personalize your recipe swaps and keep your saved recipe history — never to sell your data or for advertising or ad targeting. We keep your data while your account is active.
Your data is hosted on servers operated by Hetzner, located within the European Union, and is not transferred outside the EU/EEA for storage. Subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, not by us directly, and Apple's own privacy policy applies to that payment data. If you delete your account, we delete your account data — including any goal or health-related answers — rather than simply deactivating it.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). To exercise any of these rights, delete your account directly in the app, or contact us at support@recipebooster.com.
Early-access list: if you join our early-access list (for example after taking the PCOS Type Quiz), we store only your email address, your consent to receive emails, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and when you agreed. We use this only to send product updates, early-access invitations, and occasional recipe-related emails. Your quiz answers and quiz result are never saved or sent to us — they stay on your device and disappear when you leave or refresh the page. You can unsubscribe at any time, or ask us to delete your email by contacting support@recipebooster.com.
Terms of Service
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. You must provide an accurate email address and be at least 16 years old to use the app. You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt it, or sharing your account with others.
Recipe Booster is free to try. After that, continued use requires a paid subscription, billed and processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it. Cancellations, refunds, and billing management are handled through your Apple ID account settings, per Apple's own policies, not directly by us.
Recipe Booster suggests ingredient swaps and estimates nutrition information based on available data. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider. The service is provided "as is" — we're not liable for health outcomes, allergic reactions, or other consequences of following a suggested recipe swap, and you're responsible for verifying that any recipe fits your own dietary needs and restrictions.

For questions about your account, subscription, or a specific recipe swap, email us at support@recipebooster.com. If your question is about a specific swap, including the original recipe link or a screenshot helps us look into it faster.
Response time
We aim to get back to you as soon as possible — we're a small team, so we don't commit to a fixed response time, but we read every message.

Managing your subscription
Since billing goes through Apple, subscription changes and cancellations are managed in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, not inside Recipe Booster directly.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app, under Account Settings.
